I set up this page to record the milestones of Tykky and Mika's pups' progress over the 8 weeks. Highs, lows and funny bits.

Birth to Week 1 photos Thanks to my camera deciding on a go-slow - literally, the A/F function refused to work at all. One-handed photography an impossibility, so I had to wait until day 3 for Susanne and Brent to visit to get some decent shots of the pups.

The video function still worked thankfully, so I tried to upload videos to my website, FB and this blog. Another epic fail there as it took me several days via a new video hosting site to succeed.  Enjoy this one of Tykky and Mika's pups day 5

Things technical have not gone entirely to plan this week! The following were the best the poor old Fuji could manage, names courtesy of some on-trend Boots nail polish colours, somewhat different to my usual supply:

Sky week 1 (birth 225g, wk1 467g)

Sunshine week 1 (birth 207g, wk1 424g)

Pink week 1 (birth 211g, wk1 458g)

Carmine week 1 (birth 237g, wk1 512g)

Week 2
Eyes opening, the odd baby woof and practice growls sound more like a high pitched purr! The wolf sable girls are the first to open their eyes on day 9, a full 3 days ahead of the black and tan boys. They were also the first to respond to sound on day 14.  My neighbours popped in with another camera :-) Here Tykky is posing in the ready box used to transfer the pups. She hopped in when I was trying to get a pristine bedding down for the photos:

Later in the week Heather popped by again to collect Ilo for her stroll on the beach and deliver the by now essential supplies of chocolate cup cakes :-).  After many abortive attempts at the week 2 shots with my camera, I zapped next door to Liz to borrow hers (again!) Well done Heather for your patience in positioning:
